Sending articles from one Joomla! 1.5 website to another one is the most powerfull feature of J2XML. After setting up the source and target site, the sending of articles is as simple as a click.
First of all you must install J2XML 1.5.3 or above on both the source and target website. Then you need to
Enable XML-RPC - J2XML API plugin on target website
Select Components > J2XML > Control panel from the drop-down menu on the Back-end of your Joomla! installation. Open the State panel on right side.
Click on XML-RPC - J2XML API to open the Plugin Manager and Enable the plugin.
Be sure that Web services are enabled. If not, click on Web services from the J2XML control panel and enable them.
Setup website on source website
To send articles from one Joomla! 1.5 website to another you need to record the target data access into J2XML on source website. Select Components > J2XML > Website Manager from the drop-down menu on the back-end of your Joomla! installation.
Click on New button to add a new website configuration.
- Name is a symbolic name of the site, it helps you to find the right site to send articles.
- Enabled indicates whether it is possible to send articles to website.
- Remote URL is the entry point of web services on target website. Pay attention to know the correct root path of your joomla installation. In this example Joomla is installed into joomla15 subfolder.
- Username and password are the credentials of registered users on the destination site that send the articles.
Send articles
Click the Article Manager icon in the Control Panel, or click 'Article Manager' in the 'Content' menu in the Back-end of your Joomla! installation.
Check the boxes to select the articles you want send. Click the send button. A lightbox comes up with the websites list, click on the name of the web site to send your data

You can also send content from Section Manager and Category Manager.
